Beijinhos de Pombal


These biscuits born early in the second half of the twentieth century, with the manufacturing base of the Cavacas (another biscuits) from Caldas da Rainha. They are now one of Pombal city specialties most appreciated and known throughout the country. Ingredients Pasteurized eggs, wheat flour, sugar, vegetable oil, water, yeast (chemical leavens, dyssemic phosphate and sodium bicarbonate, maize starch) and vanilla aroma (identical-natural flavoring substances, aromatic extracts, natural flavoring substances, water, stabilizer: (E1520), caramelized sugar syrup, thickener: (E415), acidifying: (E330), preservative: (E211).
